Tracscare has chosen to consolidate its telecoms services with the Bamboo Technology Group.

Tracscare is a specialist provider of support for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities, and runs several healthcare facilities, mainly in Wales.

As it has expanded over the last few years, it has acquired a number of companies resulting in more than seven different providers of fixed line and mobile services.

Following an extensive tender process, Cheltenham-based IT services specialist and consultancy, Bamboo, was selected to provide Tracscare with mobile and fixed line telephony, and data connectivity.

Given the complexity of the company’s existing telecoms services from different supplies all with varying contract end dates, Bamboo says it has produced a strategic migration plan to transition Tracscare’s various services over the course of a 6-7 month period.

The firm says implementing and managing a staged transfer of services reduces any potential interruptions for Tracscare’s users, while also providing the company with the option to avoid any early termination fees from its incumbent providers.

Bamboo claims that one of the reasons it won the contract was because of its “proven ability and experience” in the healthcare industry.

Lorrin White, the company’s MD, says: “Bamboo has built a solid reputation in the healthcare industry through our ability to deliver on our promises and provide solutions that perfectly fit our customers’ needs.”
