MLL Telecom renews managed network services contract with Greenwich

MLL Telecom has announced the successful renewal of its managed network services contract with Royal Borough of Greenwich Council (RBG).

Valued at over £4 million over four years, the new contract ensures the continuation of MLL’s work which commenced in 2017 to enhance the connectivity, security and resilience of RBG’s wide area (WAN), local area (LAN) and wireless (WiFi) solutions.

26% of businesses not using AI for cybersecurity

New research from Hornetsecurity highlights the AI cybersecurity gap affecting UK businesses: although 45% of companies have fallen victim to cyberattacks, 26% are still not using AI to enhance their cybersecurity defences.

The survey reveals that cyber threats are an escalating concern. The increased sophistication of these attacks, largely attributed to AI facilitating the process of threat creation, has been acknowledged by 85% of respondents.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust contracts for 10GB WAN

MLL Telecom has won an initial three-year contract from Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust for the provision and management of a secure and resilient 10GB wide area network (WAN).

The £300,000 award was made following a tender on the RM3825 framework. Due for implementation this summer, MLL’s network solution will support Torbay and South Devon’s ongoing delivery of Health and Social Care Network (HSCN} services.
