CCL Solutions Group has launched a major recruitment campaign to meet increased demand for digital data investigation services, e-disclosure services, and cyber security consultancy.

The Warwickshire-based firm – the parent company of CCL Forensics which is claimed to be the UK’s largest digital forensics provider – aims to extend its headcount by around 20 per cent to more than 150 staff.

The new jobs will be based at the company’s headquarters in Stratford upon Avon as well as its new central London office. CCL says they will span the full range of technical capabilities within the organisation.

As well as additional openings for experienced IT consultants, CCL is offering new positions to graduates who are looking to develop a career in digital forensics.

The successful candidates will undertake a 12-week training programme with CCL in order to get them to Level One standard. Following this, the new recruits will undertake an in-depth, customised training programme spanning three years and covering a wide range of forensic tools and disciplines.

According to the firm, the global digital forensics market in both law enforcement and the private sector is growing at a “staggering” rate.

Citing data published last April by ABI Research, CCL says the market was expected to be worth $2.7 billion by the end of 2015, expanding to $4.7 billion by 2020.

It adds that cyber security is rarely out of the headlines with all companies, irrespective of size, being urged by the government and industry regulatory bodies to mitigate their risks and prevent damaging breaches of data.
